We work for women empowerment by promoting leadership, equality, and active participation in community development. A training workshop on “Empowering Women, Empowering Communities: Women Leadership and Gender Equality” was organized at Shekinuh Inn, Tamenglong headquarters, in collaboration with the Henry Martin Institute (HMI) and the United Women Organisation (UWOT). The workshop, facilitated by the Indigenous Women and Children Foundation (IWCF), focused on building women’s leadership skills and raising awareness on gender equality. Dr. Achan Mungleng, the resource person, led engaging sessions on leadership, collective participation, and decision-making through interactive discussions and group activities.
